General
Two-seat high-wing cabin monoplane. Compared to its sibling the 140 (which see) it has no electrical system, no flaps and no rear cabin windows. The aircraft received its Approved Type Certificate on 21 March 1946; number 768. Price ex-factory was US$ 2495 in 1946, US$ 2695 in 1947 and US$ 2845 in 1948 and 1949. Aircraft rolled of the production line in bare metal; a paint job costing US$ 200 extra. ICAO type designation is ‘C120’.

History
Aircraft entered production in March 1946, production ended in 1949. A total of 2171 were build (some sources state total production was 2164). Production ended in 1949.
Airframe
wing: High-wing semi-cantilever strut-braced monoplane. Two-spar constant-chord structure with all-metal spars, ribs and leading edge. Rest of wing covered in fabric. Ailerons are entirely made of metal. Airfoil section NACA-23012.
fuselage: All aluminium-alloy monocoque structure.
tail: All-metal cantilever monotype; trim-tab in starboard elevator.
landing gear: Fixed tailwheel type landing gear with hydraulically actuated disc brakes and steerable tailwheel. Edo floats or skis optional.
Powerplant
- One Continental C85-12 horizontally-opposed, air-cooled 4-cylinder engine delivering 85 hp (63 kW) at 2575 rpm.
- Engine drives a 2-blade fixed-pitch wooden propeller.
- Total fuel capacity 94 l (25 USG); 2 all-metal fuel tanks in wing.
