General
Four-seat twin-engined kit build aircraft, designed to be operated from both land and water. For water operations detachable floats can be fitted (TRX version). Kit is designed to comply with FAA 51% rule. Major components of kit will already be assembled. ICAO type designation is ‘CAT2’.
Model TR is aircraft without floats attached; model TRX is with floats attached. Single-engined Models SR and SRX are planned (which see).

History
Design started in 1997. Prototype C-GYCC flew in single-engined form in 2001 and converted to twin-engined form in 2002. Production of kits expected to start in 2005.
Airframe
- Aircraft has a central cabin seating 4, attached to gull wing as a pod.
- Twin tailbooms are mounted below wing, housing the retractable main landing gear.
- “Power Arch” on top of wing, capable of supporting either 1 or 2 powerplants.
- Optional amphibious floats can be attached to the tailbooms within 45 minutes; each float has a 284 l (10.0 cu ft) stowage compartment.
- Aircraft has all-composite construction.
- Fully retractable tricycle landing gear with free castoring nosewheel.
- Main landing gear extends through cutouts in floats allowing aircraft to take-off and land on hard surface with floats attached.
Powerplant
- Two Jabiru 3300 6-cylinder horizontally-opposed engines, each delivering 120 hp (88 kW).
- Each engine drives a 3-blade constant-speed propeller, manufactured by Airmaster.
- Total fuel capacity 256 l (68 USG).
Systems
- Electrical system: 14V DC system standard.
- Pneumatic system: for landing gear actuation.
Avionics
Can be fitted with wide range of avionics depending upon the builders choice.
Accommodation
Four seats in standard 2+2 layout. Aircraft configuration creates exceptional visibility. Backseat is removable for increased luggage space, cabin has been designed specifically for camping. Door on each side of cabin, dual controls.
